We had a lot of fun watching Magic Mike’s Last Dance and hope that we’ll be seeing Mike again on stage or screen soon. While the film never quite delivers the emotional punch it thinks it’s giving, and it’s hard to feel too sympathetic to the 1% high-society people involved, the film is still a lot of fun.ĭirector Steven Soderbergh captures the intimate will-they-wont-they relationship between the stars perfectly, and the final on-stage dance finale is worth the price of admission alone. He’s now bartending for rich people and through a chance encounter meets a wealthy socialite (Salma Hayek Pinault) who after a world-shaking lap dance, whisks Mike off to London to direct a new show at the theatre she owns (did we mention she’s loaded?). The film starts with stripper with a heart of gold “Magic” Mike Lane (Channing Tatum) on a change of directory. Getting excited already? Well Channing Tatum and his crew of hot male strippers are back with what could sadly be the final film in this franchise if the name stands true. Rock-hard abs, bulging biceps and chiselled features.
